What Does Plan Management Cost and what does it mean?

Put simply, plan management is the process of getting your providers paid.

 

When you choose Plan Management, your LAC or NDIS planner will add the cost of the plan management fees to your total plan, so that it does not come out of the rest of your overall budget. With plan management in your NDIS plan, you can hire anyone with an ABN to support you (based on the funding allocated in your NDIS plan), handing control and choice back to you.

The single biggest benefit of having your NDIS funding plan managed – you have flexibility to hire a provider whether they NDIS registered or not, and you don’t have to manage the process of claiming funds and paying them.

Our plan managers organise and pay your invoices, work with you and/or your support coordinator to manage your budget and give you greater choice amongst registered and non-registered providers. We’ll help you shop for custom disability supplies and talk you through your disability support options, working tirelessly to create a system that works best for you.

Fast Processing

Our daily processing ensures all of your service providers and suppliers are paid promptly. Invoices are processed and claimed on the same working day they are received. Claims are lodged daily and paid within 3-5 business days by the Agency. The following day we pay all the suppliers.

Local Support Centre

Your planner is available typically Monday to Friday 9-5, so you always know who will answer the phone and help you

Your dedicated planner

You also have the added bonus of a plan manager who answers the phone. When you join or re-sign at Minka Blue Plan Management you are allocated an individual planner and they can be reached by phone or email to answer any questions you or your providers may have.

Manage Your Funding

We’ll help you get the most out of your plan by handling bookkeeping and administrative duties, making claims from your provider’s invoices, paying those claims promptly, tracking your funding balance and much more. Each month you will receive an email like a statement, showing all the opening balances, invoices paid and closing balances for each category you are funded  for. We even have an app available for you to use, that allows you to see your budget in real time. It shows you the actual invoices that are being presented for payment by your suppliers and if you prefer, we can add the setting that all invoices need to be approved by you before they are claimed – but you don’t need to use it if you would rather pre-approve all expenses. The choice is yours.

Latest Technology

Our plan management services run deeper than what you see on the surface. We offer super fast daily processing of claims. Every time your plan rolls over or a new plan is issued we will send out a new service agreement, and you can sign that agreement on your smart phone with your fingertip, and we email a signed copy back to you within a few moments.
