Disability Support Worker - Bathurst
Location: Bathurst, NSW The Disability Support Worker (DSW) plays a vital role in empowering participants to live independent, meaningful, and fulfilling lives. This role involves providing high-quality, person-centred support in line with individual support plans, promoting choice, dignity, and rights, and supporting participants to achieve their personal goals within the NDIS framework. Essential Requirements *Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Disability, or a related field (or willingness to obtain). *Experience supporting individuals living with disabilities (preferred). *A minimum of 6 months experience supporting individuals with disabilities is required. *Ability to work a rotating roster including mornings, evenings, weekends, sleepovers, and public holidays. *Current First Aid and CPR certification. *Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check. *Current Australian Driver's Licence. *Strong communication skills and a commitment to person-centred, rights-based support. *Ability to work independently and as part of a team. *Working with children check (WWCC) *NDIS worker orientation modules *Current Australian work authorisation is required at the time of application.
Activities Specialist
Location: Geelong, VIC We are looking for a special kind of person - a Minka Blue kind of person. Someone who puts compassion, connection and caring for other people at the heart of everything they do. As an Activities Specialist, you will work under Community Manager to promote, maintain and improve the our NDIS Group Programs. You will be assisting the team in the development of a range of programs to suit the individual needs and preferences of our participants, and running programs that highlight your special talents. We are actively seeking people with skills in many different areas such as art, music, cooking, craft, yoga and fitness, sport, information technology.
